Eligibility

  • Refunds will be processed only for the unearned portion of premiums
  • Policy must be canceled with the insurer before any refund request
  • Original payment documentation required for all refund requests

Verification Process

  1. Submit written refund request with policy number (to support@coveragecat.com)
  2. Verify government-issued photo ID
  3. Present original payment receipt
  4. Confirm policy cancellation with insurer

Payment Method

  • Refunds issued to original payment method only
  • Check refunds mailed to address on policy
  • No cash refunds
  • Electronic refunds require matching payment method information

Timeline

  • Processing time: 10-15 business days
  • Insurer confirmation required
  • Status updates available through customer portal

Restrictions

  • No refunds on earned premiums
  • No third-party refund recipients
  • Fees will be charged according to state and local regulatory permission
  • Fraudulent claims will result in account termination
